Mark helped us to organise a customised trip to Stockholm and Visby on Gotland, with flights, hotels, ferry and transfers. We like to be independent but there was a lot to coordinate so his experience meant that nothing was missed and we had helped if needed. His choices were excellent and his detailed itinerary, including Google maps and trip timings was very reassuring. He couldn't have been more helpful and we had a fantastic break. We would use Baltic Travel Company again.

Hi Laura

We had a FANTASTIC time thank you, it as totally amazing. The Ice Hotel has always been top of Aileen's bucket list, and she was totally wowed by it all, as was I

My favourite bit was the dog sled ride - we made lots of friends with the huskies ?? Aileen's favourite was the snowmobile ride. We didnt see the Northern Lights on the ride which was a shame but we had luckily seen them the night before when we came out of the restaurant

The Ice 365 rooms are incredible, such amazing art work. Plus we really enjoyed the Ice Bar ha ha

I've attached some photos, and thanks again for organising the trip.

Hi Daina

Thanks for asking and we did indeed have a wonderful time. Your recommendations worked perfectly! I'll send you some photos from my phone but here are the highlights:

Helsinki: Allas Pool. We went on the first day in the sunshine, into the heated pool to swim and into both saunas. We really enjoyed it especially the indoor sauna with enormous picture window. It was mostly local people using it which we appreciated. Reasonably priced, friendly and in a brilliant spot. The salmon soup in Story afterwards was excellent! We also walked around the promontory before our swim and saw three of the icebreaker fleet moored up. I'd found a great book in the library beforehand, Icebreaker: A Voyage Far North by Horatio Clare. It was a good way to prepare.

The ferries were both very efficient, well-equipped and easily accessible. A good way to travel.

Tallinn: Interesting and good to be there when there were fewer people than the summer. The hotel was excellent and the spa area really spacious. We enjoyed the KGB museum on the top floor of the Hotel Viru with a very lively guide who had lived through the soviet era so could describe the atmosphere very convincingly. Two nights was enough to explore fully. Also ate at a great restaurant Rataskaevu 16. Locally sourced food, excellently prepared, relaxed and hip.

Stockholm: Downtown Camper couldn't have been better. They gave us a cheap upgrade so we had four windows and loads of space overlooking the square. Loved the whole atmosphere and breakfasts. We attended two small afternoon concerts, sourced through google, so mixed with the Stockholm classical crowd and saw inside really interesting venues, both easily accessible from the Camper. Enjoyed wandering through Gamla Stan in light snow, the only fall we saw the whole time!

Happy to offer more detailed feedback on anything specific if you'd like to know. I'll send the photos separately directly from my phone.

Thanks again. We had a brilliant holiday!!
