Make sure not to miss the spouting Strokkur before you leave. Gullfoss, the golden waterfall is the last site on the Golden Circle. This great waterfall attracts thousands of visitors every year and for a good reason – according to the World of Waterfalls, it is one of the top ten best waterfalls in the world. Now it is time to soak in a natural hot pool. The locals call this the “Secret lagoon” because it was known only to them for a long time.
