Monday: Welcome to Iceland

Afternoon or evening flight from the UK to Reykjavik, spending the night at an airport hotel, as you have an early flight on day 2 from Reykjavik to Narsarsuaq in Greenland. We can also arrange extra nights in Iceland, to give you time to explore the Island of Fire & Ice.
Overnight at 3* Reykjavik hotel or similar

Tuesday: Arrival in Narsarsuaq, South Greenland

Breakfast at your hotel before your Air Iceland midday flight from Reykjavik Domestic Airport to Narsarsuaq. Upon arrival in Narsarsuaq you will be met and greeted by our local certified English speaking guide. Transfer to the nearby Hotel Narsarsuaq for check-in, your information meeting and a guided walking tour of Narsarsuaq before you enjoy you welcome dinner at the hotel.

Wednesday: City Walk Of Qaqortoq

Breakfast at the hotel before todays adventure begins. We travel from Narsarsuaq through Erik's Fjords to Qaqortoq by boat.

Qaqortoq, often described as the most beautiful town in Greenland, has a picturesque setting, between the fiord of Qaqortoq and the lake of Tasersuaq. During the tour we pass the beautiful old fountain and many of the stone sculptures and stone carvings, "Stone & Man", which are scattered around town. This historical insight to the city will give you a greater understanding of the conditions living in the southern and remote part of Greenland. The tour is at your pace and there will be plenty of opportunities fro stops and to take pictures. Duration: 2 hours (approx.)Accommodation: Hotel Qaqortoq

Hike Around Storesoen - Guided hike around the big lake "Storesoen" located right outside the town. Enjoy the beautiful Greenlandic nature on this 12Km hike. Coffee and tea will be served en route, while enjoying the view of the nature and the outskirts of town. Lunch included. Duration: 4.5 - 5.5 hours (approx.)  £130 Per Person
Hvalsey Church Ruin - Beautiful go into the Hvalsey Fjord around the Arpatsivik Island to Hvalsey, where visit the old Norse ruins as well as the church ruin, which is the best preserved from the Norse period. A wedding in the church in 1408 is the last written evidence we have from the Norse settlement in Greenland. This tour is guided. Duration: 3 hours (approx.) . £275 Per Person
Boat Excursion to the Inland Ice Cap - By boat to the Inland Ice Cap and the Twin Glaciers. If weather permits, you may go ashore very close to glaciers. from here you will get the chance to see the Ice Cap from below and feel the massive power of nature. This tour is no guide. Home Visit (Coffee Mik) - Come join a local family for a cup of coffee.
