Overview:
Torassieppi is situated by a lake and just next to Pallas-Ylläs National Park, offering unique opportunities for outdoor sports and local culture such as Northern Lights chase, husky sledding safaris, skiing trips, reindeer farm day, handicrafts and snowshoe hiking, During your stay you can also stay overnight at the Winter Village, which is a snow hotel with 10 rooms, a restaurant and a bar.
Please note that NO phones, computers, tablets and other electronic equipment is allowed. There is no WI-FI available!
All activities are included in this nature lovers package. After your active day outside, the Torassieppi kitchen will treat you to proper and healthy food prepared from local and organic ingredients. In the evening relaxation is guaranteed in the lakeside sauna with an ice hole swimming, if you are keen on doing some winter bathing like the Scandinavians do it.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1, Welcome to Torassieppi, it is time to switch offline!
From Kittilä airport it is only a 45 minutes transfer to Torassieppi, where you will meet your guide
and get more information on the days to come. Local and organic dinner is served in the restaurant
after you’ve settled in to your cosy accomodation for the week.
Digital detoxing: You need to give out your mobile devices, they are not allowed on this
holiday! There is no wifi connection at the resort. Your camera you are allowed to keep.
At Torassieppi there is a 24/7 emergency phone number you can be reached through if needed!
Day 2, Local culture & outdoors
After hearthy breakfast our guide will lead us to the reindeer farm which is situated just a few
minutes walk from your accomodation. The reindeer herder will give us an insight to the life of the
reindeer and we’ll get to visit the authentic lappish manor house and museum. All the artefacts on
display are originally from this house and it is one of the few houses saved from the war, After the
visit it is time to enjoy a short ride in the reindeer sled.
Lunch is served at the reindeer farm in a traditional lappish kota by the fire.
After a lesson on cross-country skiing we hop on to our skis and head to the national park, which is
just around the corner. Our guide will lead us on a 3-hour skiing trip to the maintained tracks in
otherwise untouched nature of the national park. This is an excellent way to excercise as well as
enjoy the nature around us.
Dinner of local and organic ingredients is served in the restaurant.

Day 3, Snowshoe hike & Northern Lights huskysafari
In the morning our guide takes you out on a showshoe hike. Showshoes are a good way to explore
the surrounding nature even in deep snow. A slower pace is possible but you can also truly break a
sweat and enjoy a small workout.
After the trip lunch is served in the restaurant. The rest of the afternoon is for relaxing or if you feel
up to it you can take a another round on your skis or snowshoes. The equipment are freely in your
use during the entire stay.
Dinner is served in the restaurant in the evening.
Depart on exciting evening husky tour with optimal possibilities for Northern lights spotting! Even
on a cloudy night this is one of our most romantic trips to the forest with a husky sled.
Day 4, Farewell Torassieppi
After breakfast it is time to say farewell Torassieppi as your transfer to the airport is about to leave.
