Day 1: Welcome to Swedish Lapland
Upon arrival at Kiruna Airport, transportation will be arranged to take you to the lodge. Upon check-in at the lodge, you will be greeted by our friendly team. We will provide you with essential arctic clothing including a down jacket, pants, winter boots, hat, and gloves to ensure your comfort during your stay.
Experience the mesmerizing phenomenon of the northern lights from the summit of Mt. Ednamvarri, where panoramic 360-degree views await you. Delight in a enchanting evening at Lodge Máttaráhkka, where dinner is served in the cozy tipi nestled outside the lodge. When conditions align perfectly, embark on a snowmobile journey to the peak of Mt. Ednavaara, where you'll revel in unparalleled vistas of the mountain range, far from the disruptions of city lights. Throughout the excursion, our knowledgeable guide will capture memorable moments with a camera, ensuring lasting memories of this extraordinary experience. This adventure spans approximately 5 hours and includes a delightful 2-course dinner.
Day 2: Husky Safari, Ice Hotel & Northern Lights

Experience the thrill of dogsledding as you ride alongside the guide through a picturesque winter landscape in the taiga forest. Glide through the snow-covered terrain on the sled, pulled by a team of energetic dogs, immersing yourself in the serene beauty of nature. Midway through the adventure, pause for a traditional Swedish Fika around a crackling fire in the cozy tipi nestled amidst the forest, offering a moment of warmth and relaxation amid the snowy surroundings.
Following an exhilarating dogsled journey through the forest, arrive at the original ICEHOTEL, where a sumptuous Swedish buffet awaits. Explore the enchanting wonders of the ICEHOTEL, crafted entirely from snow and ice, including the innovative ICEHOTEL 365. Marvel at the intricate Art Suites created by acclaimed artists from across the globe, and Savor a cocktail served in unique ice glasses at the sculpted ice bar, immersing yourself in the magic of this extraordinary icy oasis. Later, return to the lodge for a delightful 3-course dinner crafted from locally sourced ingredients by our talented chefs, concluding the day with culinary delights and relaxation.
Day 3: Snowmobile Safari & Aurora Chase

Embark on an unforgettable half-day snowmobile safari, exploring the captivating landscapes of Lapland in a unique and meticulously planned adventure. As the sole provider in Kiruna, we offer exclusive day trips via snowmobile, guiding you to the fringes of the Arctic tundra and beyond the treeline to the Lapland viewpoint, boasting breathtaking vistas of the pristine Arctic wilderness. Pause for a rejuvenating break on a frozen lake, where we prepare coffee over a crackling fire and indulge in traditional Swedish Fika, with the opportunity to try your hand at traditional ice fishing. Upon return to the lodge, savor a delectable 2-course lunch, completing this exhilarating experience. Please note that a valid driving license is required. Your package includes transfer to and from your hotel, loan of arctic clothing, hot beverages, Swedish Fika by the fireside on the frozen lake, optional ice fishing, and a shared snowmobile (1 for 2 people).
In the evening, immerse yourself in the magic of the northern lights with an Aurora chase by a cozy minivan at the Kiruna-Abisko National Park. Gather around the tipi fire adjacent to the lodge for a delightful BBQ meal before embarking on a comfortable journey through serene Lapland roads. Our expert guides will chauffeur you to the prime viewing spots, ensuring an optimal experience of the mesmerizing northern lights, making this evening a truly unforgettable one.
