Golf under the Midnight Sun has to be one of the weirdest rounds in Europe, but here in Norway you can play golf in the Arctic Circle and wear your sunglasses in the middle of the night. The Narvik Golf club boasts an 18 hole Championship course sitting right next to the Frostisen glacier. if you're a fisherman too, take your rod as you will be playing close to one of the area's great salmon rivers, the Skjoma. At under 6,000 metres, Narvik still makes for a tough par 72 and you can't beat teeing off between the towering mountains and the Midnight Sun.
