Torne River is the biggest free-flowing river in Europe. As all the big rivers in the old times they have been providing much of every day food to people living in the surrounding area. During the program, you will get to see two methods of fishing. Firstyou get to go ice fishing. A guide will teach you how to drill a hole in the ice and prepare the ice-fishing rod and baits. Then it’s time to test your skills. It is usually done during the hours of day light because it’s the warmest time of the day. In theory, this is when fish can see well and search for food. On the way back you will see how burbots are caught.
