Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Bodø
Arrival in Bodø. Bodø is the largest town in the county of Nordland, with just a bit over 50,000 inhabitants. The town surrounded by Børvasstindan mountain range offers many different kinds of activities as well as an opportunity for relaxation. Located on a peninsula in Northern Norway, Bodø has great opportunities for fishing. Bodø also offers a great varity in arts and crafts as well as adventurous activities.
Accommodation in a centrally located 3 or 4 star hotel.
Day 2: Bodo - Nordskot (ferry)
Breakfast at the hotel. Before continuing your trip to the beautiful Manshausen Island, you have the afternoon to explore Bodø. Afternoon departure by ferry to Nordskot. From Nordskot you will be picked up by boat and taken to Manshausen Island.
Manshausen Island is beautifully unique destination for a getaway. This 28 hectares island is located in the Steigen archipelago, surrounded by mountains and other small islands - perfect day trip destinations for trekking! The resort is an ideal mixture of adventure and relaxation as well as architecture. The cabins offer an extraordinary scenery from their large glass windows. There is no better place for Aurora watching than these cabins!
Day 3 - 4: Leisure time at Manshausen
Breakfast at the resort. Today you can explore the area on your own or join the various activities that are available. Trek around the nearby areas and islands or perhaps the mountains. You can also spend your days sea kayaking, cycling or climbing. Also fishing is possible all year around.
Day 5: Departure from Manshausen
Breakfast at the resort. Morning departure by ferry back to Bodø. Return flight back to the UK.
