Oslo is Norway's bustling cosmopolitan capital and an important centre of culture and commerce. Some of the main sites of the city include Akershus Fortress, Vigeland Sculpture Park, the National Theatre and the Viking Ship Museum but the city also has plenty to offer with art galleries, cultural activities, and varied, multicultural cuisine.
Bergen is Norway's second largest city and a calm contrast to the hustle and bustle of the capital. Bergen is beautifully located, surrounded by mountains on the coast of the Norwegian Sea. The city is, with good reason, known as the "Gateway to the Fjords" and you use the city a base to explore Norway's unique and breathtaking landscapes. Bergen is a very laid-back city and you can spend a lot of time slowly exploring the traditional, quaint wooden houses in Bryggen, by the city's central harbour.
Tromso is one of our most popular destinations. Even though the city is not as large as Norway's other cities, it has one major advantage - the chance to see the magical Northern Lights. Tromso is, situated right in the centre of the Aurora Zone, meaning that there is a very high chance to see the Northern Lights in the countryside around the city. On days when the Aurora activity is particularly strong, you can even see the Northern Lights from the centre of the city. There are many other activities and attractions on offer in Tromso too, with the chance to take part in dog sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and many other winter activities. Tromso is sometimes referred to as the "Paris of the North" with plenty of cultural sites to visit such as the Arctic Cathedral and a whole host of museums.
