Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma is part of the Finnish National Gallery. Kiasma functions to educate the public as well as strengthen Finland's status in art by arranging exhibitions and increasing its collections. Kiasma has extensive collection of Finnish contemporary art but also commissions new work by new artists. The collection is publicly presented in changing themes.
Kiasma is an active, participatory and accessible museum which creates discussion on art and social issues. The museum reaches different audiences by changing its diverse program often and offers an experience that is more than just a museum.
