Malangen Resort offers you picturesque scenery overlooking Malangen Fjord, with luxurious Scandinavian-designed accomodation from where you might even have the possibility to see the Northen Lights dance across the sky from the comfort of your bed! You can choose your accommodation from in-house hotel rooms, self-catering apartments to cottages and luxury cabins, some of which have saunas and baths with amazing views over the fjord. The self-catering accomodation offers living and dining areas, 2-3 bedrooms, bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens and balconies. You can eat your meals in the in-house restaurant at the hotel, or if you prefer the self-catering option, there is a local shop a short 10-minute drive away.
Cleaning is on request and all bedding needed is included. The Wi-Fi works in the hotel building as well as the apartments. Wi-Fi is not availble in the cabins.
The activities at Malangen Resort offer fun and unique experiences for any age and any physical fitness level! In the winter you can go cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, kick- or dog sledding through the neverending miles of surrounding breathtaking winter landscape, but an absolute must is the 15 min walk up to Wilderness Camp Nikka, where you can marvel at the Aurora Borealis by a warm fire whilst seated on soft, thick reindeer skins. You can bring your own picnic or enjoy a beautifully cooked meal in the wilderness - a dining experience that comes with views over the frozen lake below. The extremely helpful and genuinely friendly staff can even find you warm outdoor clothing in case you have arrived unprepared! In the summer you can enjoy a midnight cruise under, yes this is true, the midnight sun, something only experienced this far north, where, during some months of the summer, the sun never sets! You can go hiking, grab a bike, rent a boat, go sea fishing or engage in a game of beach volley before soothing your sore muscles in one of the hot tubs, or in the large sauna with some of the best sauna views found in the Nordics.
