Extra nights can be added in Reykjavik at the beginning or end of your tour.

This tour operates all year round apart from the months of December and January.

Iceland Circle Fly / Drive ItineraryDay 1 – Reykjavik. Arrive in the capital of Iceland and check in to your hotel, where you will be met by our tour representative and given your information pack for the tour. Free time to explore Reykjavik.
Accommodation in a 3* centrally located hotel in Reykjavik.
DAY 2 – The South coast. Start your drive towards Þingvellir National Park – the site of the ancient parliament. Major events in the history of Iceland have taken place at Þingvellir. The area is ideal for a lovely walk. Continue to the geysir hot spring area with its fabulous
Strokkur geysir spouting every 10 minutes.
Gullfoss waterfall is not to be missed as well as Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Or why not try natural outdoor swimming pool in Seljavellir, a well-kept secret in lovely surroundings. You can also visit Skógar’s the magnificent waterfall and the folk museum or Dyrhólaey, a 120 m high cape with perpendicular cliffs teeming with bird life.

Day 3 - The Southeast and the East coast. Today you will visit
Skaftafell National Park – a beautiful and unique place of natural wonder. You will also have a chance to visit the
glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón where you can take a cruise on the lagoon amongst towering icebergs. The last stop of the day will be the
largest glacier in Europe - Vatnajökull. Accommodation in a 3*- 4* centrally located hotel / guesthouse in Höfn area.
Day 4 - The East coast and fjords. Drive towards the
East fjords. During your drive you can enjoy a view of tall and often uniquely formed mountains and fjords and quaint fishing villages.

Day 5 - Lake Mývatn area. Lake Mývatn is one of the pearls of Icelandic nature located in an active volcanic zone. Interesting sights in the area include a wooded headland Höfði and Dimmuborgir rock formations. Visit the
hot springs in Námaskarð Pass and see the pseudo craters at Krafla as well as the beautiful and historical Goðafoss (Waterfall of the Gods). Accommodation in a 3*- 4* centrally located hotel / guesthouse in Mývatn area.
Day 6 - Akureyri and the North. Today you have a chace to visit Akureyri town, where you can find the most northerly botanic garden. Drive through
Skagafjörður district, renowned for its
horse breeding, and visit
Glaumbær farmhouse museum, the old turf church at Víðimýri and Vatnsdalshólar - the site of the last execution in Iceland. The last stop of today is the magnificent
Kolugljúfur canyon and waterfalls. Accommodation in a 3*- 4* centrally located hotel / guesthouse in the Hrútafjörður/Skagafjörður area.
Day 7 - The North and the Southwest. Get familiar with the lovely Borgarfjörður district and climb the old
crater Grábrók. Drive down to
Borgarnes town – the site of one of the most popular Icelandic sagas, Egla where you can join guided saga tours. Return to Reykjavik and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
