Sleigh Ride in North Norway

Sleds pulled by the reindeer are an important part of Sami culture and is also the oldest transportation form in Northern Norway. This winter adventure will have you driving in pairs, with one sledge for each reindeer. The trip is approximately 3 km long, going across the valley of Tamok. You may even get a chance at trying your skills at lasso-throwing! We will also introduce you to the Sami culture and also visit a traditional Sami lavvo. The reindeer sledding adventure can be booked as either a daytime or evening trip.

More about Sleigh Ride in North Norway

We pick you up on our bus or minibus in the town centre of Tromsø, by the hotel Rica. The town centre is very compact, so you will easily find the pick up point. We then take you for a 75 minute drive out in the wilderness, to our Camp Tamok. The camp consists of Sami tents and a timber cabin. This is the starting and ending point for your excursion.
