Here are the eight sites listed by UNESCO:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"><strong>1.<\/strong> <\/span><b>Urnes<\/b><b><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Stave Church<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Dating back to the mid 12<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">th<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> Century, Urnes Stave Church is one of the oldest wooden structures in the world. West Norwegian Fjords of Geraingerfjord &amp; N\u00e6r\u00f8yfjord\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Listed in 2005, these fjords were deemed by UNESCO to be of exceptional natural beauty. Bryggen <\/b><b>in <\/b><b>Bergen\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Bergen dates back to 1070 when it was established by King Olaf III. R\u00f8ros Mining Town<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">When you visit R\u00f8ros you may feel a sense of place of d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu. Rock Art of Alta<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Only discovered in 1973, the petroglyphs of Alta are the oldest of the manmade UNESCO sites dating back to at least 5000 years BCE. The carvings depict local wildlife and prey such as reindeer and elk. Struve Geodetic Arc<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">First established in 1845, there are four points of German astronomer, Friedrich Struve\u2019s experiment to map the shape and size with Norway. Rjuken \u2013 Notodden Industrial Heritage Site <\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Found in Telemark, the cities of Rjuken and Notodden represent the evolution from coal powered energy to hydroelectric. There are remains of infrastructure from this evolution including dams. Tunnels and Power Stations.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\"> For the adventurous, you can walk up the longest staircase in Norway which consists of 4444 steps is adjacent to the pipework.
