Considered the &#8216;Gateway to the Fjords&#8217; and is a about a 2 hour trip from the city of Bergen.<\/p>\n<h2>N\u00c3\u00a6r\u00c3\u00b8yfjord &#8211; God of the Sea<\/h2>\n<p>N\u00c3\u00a6r\u00c3\u00b8yfjord is officially named for from the norse god &#8216;Njord&#8217;, but the name also refers to the extreme narrowness of its waterways.
