4 nights/ 5 days from £ 1,845 per person
This tour allows you to experience one of the Northern most land masses on Earth. Svalbard is a mere 1,000 kilometres from the North Pole and will give you the opportunity to explore some extraordinary nature and see Arctic wildlife in its natural habitat.
You will be accommodated at Isfjord radio - situated on the outermost part of the Isfjord, on the beautiful Nordenskiöld coast, framed by the majestic Svalbard Mountains and overlooking the open sea. Until a few years ago, the radio station was an important connection for telecommunication between mainland Norway and Svalbard. The area surrounding the radio station has exceptional animal wildlife and a bird sanctuary. As well as a wide variety of bird species, you will also be able to see Svalbard Reindeer and Arctic fox, whales, and maybe spot a glimpse of King of the Arctic - a polar bear!
