Tour Itinerary:

The Summerhouse:

The summerhouse is located in Denmark, approximately 1,8 km west of Hornbæk and 1 km from the beautiful sandy beach west of Hornbæk Harbour. The house is a 140m2 traditional Swedish “full timber, U-shaped, log cabin. It has a fully functional modern kitchen, all inclusive, a dedicated large dining room (can to entertain up to 12-14 for dining) and a separate living room with a fireplace and a big screen HD television “50”, DVD, Satellite Disk for international TV channels, video and an impressive surround sound system. You will also find a separate office related to the living room. In addition to this, the house also has three separate bedrooms and two separate bathrooms both with showers and toilets.

There is free high-speed wireless Internet connection available in the house.

In front of the house is a 150 m2 south facing terrace with an open-air fireplace. The garden has several 50-60 years old tall trees and has plenty of opportunities for uninterrupted sunbathing. In addition there is a carport with cover for two cars and a separate 15 m2 shed. In the shed are located two adult and one child “well-functioning” bicycles.
The House is surrounded by friendly neighbours and open fields that, during the summer months, hold free-range horses.

The property is available for weekly rent. In addition the use of electricity and water is charged by the same unit price as the price for power and water supply companies is charged the house owner. There is a mandatory cleaning service after the end of the rent period.

The Village of Hornbæk:

For several years, Hornbæk´s citizens have made a great effort to protect the environment, cleaning their town daily and twice a year performing a major cleaning with full participation of all citizens. Shop owners keep the streets clean, an important feature of a town like Hornbæk where supermarkets are open daily throughout the year, several specialist shops also are open seven days a week during the summer season, on Sundays closing at 2 pm.

Restaurants:

Studying the menu in Hornbæk leads to a great selection of eating places: from summer café’s to all-year restaurants, from fast food to gourmet meals, from inns with a billiard table to cafés with music - and a variety in between!

The Beach:

Offering fine-grained sand, high visibility water, child-friendly depths, toilets, kiosks and lifeguards in high season, the kilometre-long, well maintained beach, is a great asset for Hornbæk. Activity seekers have plenty of opportunities: “Bird Watching”, beach volley, windsurfing etc. Wheelchair users have access to the beach, too. Hornbæk Harbour is today a modern yacht harbour with excellent facilities, always full of life, where present-day anglers have succeeded yesterday’s fishermen. For many years the harbour and beach have been awarded the Blue Flag.
