During the day you can enjoy various outdoor programmes, guided hiking tours or Nordic walking. In the evening you have a chance to relax in saunas and Jacuzzi, or take a herb bubble bath. Highlight of the holiday is the wild brown bear overnight adventure with a night in a bear hide and a possibility to observe brown bears in their natural environment.

Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Helsinki
Upon arrival in Helsinki, transfer to your centrally located 4-star hotel in Helsinki for a two night stay.
Day 2: Helsinki
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in Helsinki - a modern city, which throughout 450 years of history, has existed in the crosscurrents of the East and West. Sights of interest are the historical centre, Senate Square, Parliament building, Finlandia Hall, the Sibelius Monument, Temppeliaukio Church (Rock Church), and the magnificent Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress.
Day 3: Helsinki - Kajaani - Kuhmo
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Helsinki airport for your flight to Kajaani. On arrival in Kajaani you will be transferred to Hotel Kalevala in Kuhmo for a four night stay. Kuhmo is located approximately an hour away from Kajaani airport.
Welcome drink and dinner at the Hotel Kalevala restaurant.
Day 4: Wild Brown Bear Overnight Adventure
Free morning for leisure or optional activities.
Approx. at 15:00 transfer to Wild Brown Bear centre (in late August and September the departure time is earlier).
After early dinner information about the upcoming night and short walk from the main building to the hides, Bear House or luxury cabin. There is between twelve to sixteen hours of direct sunlight and two to four hours of twilight in the viewing season. All hides are equipped with viewing chairs, sleeping areas and dry toilets.
Package includes refreshment and sandwiches in the hides, sleeping bags. Recommended equipment is clothes according to weather forecast, binoculars and camera.
Day 5: Day for relaxation
Leave the hide between 06:00 - 08.00 and transfer back to the Hotel Kalevala for breakfast. The afternoon is free for optional activities or relaxing, hiking, fishing and cycling.

Day 6: Day for relaxation
Breakfast at the hotel, and the day is free for relaxation at the Hotel Kalevala.

Day 7: Departure from Kajaani
Check out from the hotel and transfer to Kajaani airport for your flight back to London via Helsinki.
