The beautifully designed wooden cabins, called ‘Gamme’ cabins, are available for overnight stays all year round.
This is your chance to experience the Finnmark tradition of spending time in a cabin, living simply, and getting nice and cosy with nature.
In the winter time, the cabins will be covered with snow. They resemble igloos, glowing against the white powder of snow. In summer, you can enjoy the 24 hour sunlight, catch a cod in the fjord 60 metres away, or go foraging for berries and mushrooms in the surrounding hills, again back to basics.
The Gamme cabins are equipped with:
twin beds
a toilet and shower
beautifully designed large windows
perfect for catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights or birdlife and wildlife activity outside
while you enjoy the warmth inside.
