Baltic Triangle Itinerary DAY 1 (SATURDAY) Arrival in Tallinn and transfer to centrally located **** Domina Il Marine or similar. Afternoon to explore Tallinn's charming Old Town at your leisure.
DAY 2 (SUNDAY) Transfer by hydrofoil to Helsinki, transfer to Hotel Sokos Helsinki **** or similar, check-in, welcome meeting.
DAY 3 (MONDAY) The sightseeing tour takes us around the harbours, up central Mannerheim Street and by the Parliament Building, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monument and for a visit at the famous Church-in the-Rock. In the afternoon an optional excursion by waterbus is offered to the historic Suomenlinna Fortress.
DAY 4 (TUESDAY) The tour continues eastbound to St. Petersburg. Shortly after crossing the border into Russia we arrive in Vyborg, where we take time for a sightseeing tour and a visit to Vyborg Castle. In the late afternoon we arrive in St. Petersburg and check-in at the Hotel Azimut*** or similar.
DAY 5 (WEDNESDAY) During the morning sightseeing tour we get acquainted with all the splendours of the city: the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Saviour, the Nevsky Convent and much more. The afternoon offers an optional visit to the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum and in the evening there is an optional visit to Nikolaevsky Palace for a Russian folklore programme.
DAY 6 (THURSDAY) An optional excursion in the morning offers a visit to Zarskoye Selo with the impressive Catherine’s Palace and the Amber Room, which vanished during World War II and was restored for St. Petersburg’s tri-centennial celebrations. The afternoon is reserved for an optional guided shopping tour on Nevsky Prospect and in the evening enjoy an optional Russian dinner at Restaurant Na Zdoroviye.
DAY 7 (FRIDAY) We leave St. Petersburg and head towards the border to Estonia. Right on the other side of the border we reach Narva and make a stop to see the Hermann Fortress. The rest of the day is spent travelling through the Lahemaa National Park to Tallinn, where we check-in late in the afternoon at Hotel Reval Olympia**** or similar
DAY 8 (SATURDAY) The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon an optional excursion is offered to Rocca-Al-Mare Parkmuseum , a spacious exhibition of 18th century Estonian country life. The evening offers an optional medieval dinner at the Restaurant Peppersack.
DAY 9 (SUNDAY) Transfer to the airport.
