Our Baltic Triangle Tour visits thee intriguing capital cities surrounding the Gulf of Finland - Tallinn, Helsinki and St. Petersburg. Baltic Triangle itinerary:
DAY 1 (FRIDAY): ARRIVAL IN TALLINN
Arrive in Tallinn and transfer to Hotel Radison Blu Olympia**** or similar for check-in and welcome meeting.
DAY 2 (SATURDAY): TALLINN
Today you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with Tallinn, a charming city with a wonderfully restored Medieval Old Town and plenty of shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants to keep you busy. The sightseeing tour takes us around the old medieval city walls and into the Old Town where we see Toompea Castle, the Dome Church, Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the medieval Old Town Hall. In the afternoon an optional excursion is offered to Kadriorg Park with a visit to Kadriorg Palace and its art collection. The evening offers an optional medieval dinner at the Restaurant Peppersack.
DAY 3 (SUNDAY): TALLINN - HELSINKI
Transfer by hydrofoil to Helsinki, transfer to Radison Blu Plaza **** or similar, check-in, free time to explore the city.
DAY 4 (MONDAY): HELSINKI
The day begins with a guided tour around Helsinki, which intoroduces you to the unique city of design and innovation. The sightseeing tour takes us around the harbours, up central Mannerheim Street and by the Parliament Building, the Finlandia Hall, and the Sibelius Monument and for a visit at the famous Church-in the-Rock. In the afternoon an optional excursion by to Seurasaari Open Air Museum.
DAY 5 (TUESDAY): HELSINKI - ST. PETERSBURG
The tour continues eastbound to St. Petersburg. Shortly after crossing the border into Russia we arrive in Vyborg, where we take time for a sightseeing tour and a visit to Vyborg Castle. In the late afternoon we arrive in St. Petersburg and check-in at the Hotel Radisson Sonya **** or similar.
DAY 6 (WEDNESDAY): ST. PETERSBURG
During the morning sightseeing tour we get acquainted with all the splendours of the city: the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Winter Palace, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the Church of the Bleeding Saviour, the Nevsky Convent and much more. The afternoon offers an optional visit to the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum and in the evening there is an optional visit to Nikolaevsky Palace for a Russian folklore programme.
DAY 7 (THURSDAY): ST. PETERSBURG
An optional excursion in the morning offers a visit to Peterhof, with the impressive Grand Palace, Grand Cascade and Water Avenue and its wonderful parks. The afternoon is reserved for an optional tour to Catherine's Palace and the Amber Room, which vanished in WWII. In the evening enjoy an optional Russian dinner at Restaurant Na Zdoroviye.
DAY 8 (FRIDAY): DEPARTURE FROM ST. PETERSBURG
Departure transfer to the airport.
