Detailed Itinerary - North Norway Winter Adventure:
DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN TROMSO
Arrival at Tromsø Airport. Shuttle bus transfer from the airport to the city centre. Check in at the hotel, and if you have some energy, see our supplementary options for an evening excursion to ‘kick start’ the tour. Check in at the Clarion Collection Hotel With.
DAY 02: TROMSO YOUR OWN WAY
Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to discover the Arctic Tromsø known as ‘Paris of the North’. Tromsø is the largest city in the Nordic countries north of the Arctic Circle and is home to the world’s northernmost university, brewery and cathedral. We recommend a visit of the Arctic Cathedral that with its large, angular form and light colour can easily be associated with an iceberg. Overnight at the Clarion Collection Hotel With.
DAY 03: TROMSO – LOFOTEN ON BOARD HURTIGRUTEN
Breakfast at the hotel. Another full day to explore all that Tromsø has to offer. We have requested a late check out at the hotel for you today. Today you can enjoy the city and the optional activities as listed at the end of the itinerary. At midnight board Hurtigruten for your departure to Svolvaer.

DAY 04: ARRIVAL IN SVOLVAER, LOFOTEN ISLANDS
Breakfast on board Hurtigruen, you continue travelling south until you reach the islands of Lofoten. Arrival in Svolvær at 18:30 – check in at the Svinoja Rorbu Hotel.
DAY 05: LOFOTEN PANORAMA TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. This full day excursion takes you on a journey through the spectacular Lofoten archipelago, introducing you to the islands' history, nature, landscapes and modern way of life. In the company of our experienced and knowledgeable driver / guide you'll explore a dramatic coastline of historic fishing villages and beautiful white-sand beaches, backed by the rugged mountains that are so typical of the islands. With plenty of stops to photograph and enjoy the breathtaking views, this tour offers an unforgettable day out. This full day scenic tour starts in Svolvær. Highlights include: Gunnar Berg Art Gallery, Henningsvær, Eggum, Stamsund and Kabelvåg. Photo stops: Svolværgeita, Lofoten athedral, Gimsøy and Ramberg. *Artscape Nordland. In the west of Lofoten there will be a 45 minutes stop.
DAY 06: NORTHENR LIGHTS SAFARI
Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast at the hotel. Chance to explore Lofoten, perhaps enjoy some cross country or downhill skiing. In the evening, maximize your chance to see the northern lights at the Polar Light Center, based in Laukvik - Lofoten. During this evening excursion there will be an interesting multimedia-presentation with beautiful colorful pictures. Explanation of aurora and everything you want to know about it. Night excursion to the beach. Coffee & tea is served during the evening. Unique: SMS-alert to warn you when the northern lights are visible. Return to the hotel and overnight.
DAY 07: DEPARTURE FROM LOFOTEN ISLANDS
Breakfasts at the hotel and early departure by ferry from Svolvaer to Bodo (06:30 - 10:00). Upon arrival in Bodo, make your way to the airport for your return flight.
