Combine a Riga city break with a relaxing stay at the seaside resort town of Jurmala.  Enjoy the buzz of city life in Riga.  Admire the beautiful Old Town architecture and enjoy the trendy restaurants and cafes before heading for the white sandy beaches and fresh pine forest air of Jurmala.

Guide price £585 per person, based on availability and two people sharing a double or twin room.

Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart the UK and arrive at Riga airport. A private car will drive you to your four star hotel in the Old Town. If you choose to arrive in the afternoon, you'll have a chance to do a bit of exploring in the Old Town. Take a short walk to the Reval Latvia hotel and have a drink at the Skyline bar on the 26th floor. The view is fantastic and will give you a good perspective of Riga.

Day 2 - Take a guided sightseeing tour of Riga (£50 for a private guide for 2 hours) and learn about the City's rich history. If you want to take a break from architecture and monuments, head out of the Old Town to Berga Bazars and browse the exclusive shops and boutiques, as well as enjoy the cafés, restaurants and art galleries. Stop in for some delicious chocolates and cakes at Emil Gustav's while you're there. Berga Bazars is a leisurely 15 minute walk from the Old Town.

Day 3 - Transfer by private car (less than 30 mins.) to Jurmala and check in to a four star spa hotel or guest house.

Here are some suggested activities for your stay at Jurmala:

  • Enjoy spa facilities, such as baths, pools, massages and skin treatments that will relax and invigourate you.
  • Hire bikes and cycle along the 20 mile stretch of beach.
  • Go horseback riding
  • Enjoy water sports - sailing, wind surfing, water skiing
  • Stroll along Jomas Iela and enjoy the galleries, shops and markets.
  • Spend an afternoon at the Livu Aqua Park enjoying a wide variety of water slides and wave pools
  • Dine at local restaurants
  • Take a day trip to a nearby national park or visit a local fishing village
Day 8 - Transfer by private car (about 15 mins.) to Riga Airport and depart for UK
