This self drive tour allows you to get an in depth feel for Iceland's spectacualr nature without extensive stretches of driving. The southwest part of Iceland feature some amazing waterfalls and geysers and well know landmarks like the Blue Lagoon. In addition to the Icelandic captial of Reykjavik, there are many wonderful towns and fishing villages a long the way.

Package price is £1,115 per person based on availability and two people sharing a twin or double room.

• Direct return flights from London to Reykjavik with Iceland Air (we can arrange flights from other airports upon request)
• Airport transfers in Reykjavik
• 2 night accommodation in 3* Hotel Bjork (or similar) in Reykjavik
• 5 nights accommodation in farm / guest houses in the countryside

Iceland Summer Splendour Fly Drive Holiday Itinerary


DAY 1:  Arrive and collect your car at Keflavík Airport. Drive to your accommodation in Reykjavík.

DAY 2: Visit Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir Skálholt church and Þingvellir National Park.

DAY 3:  Drive along the south coast to visit Hvolsvöllur Saga Museum, Skógar waterfall, Skógar museum and the beach of Vík.

DAY 4:  Explore Reykjavík peninsula, visit to the Blue Lagoon and the geothermal area of Krýsuvík.

DAY 5:  Drive to Borgarfjörður. Visit Reykholt and Hraunfossar.

DAY 6:  Whole day spent exploring Snæfellsnes peninsula.

DAY 7:  Return to Reykjavík. Afternoon free to explore the capital.

DAY 8:  Retrun car and depart Iceland.
