The Climate Of Trondheim

The city of Trondheim mostly enjoys a maritime climate. The regions close to the coasts have a more windy and extreme climate, but Trondheim enjoys a milder climate in comparison. July is the warmest month of the year, while February happens to be the coldest. From November to March the region experiences average snowfall with a few rain showers thrown in every now and then. Since snow falls adequately, the region is popular with tourists who come to Norway looking for skiing adventures. Spring is an ideal time to visit for those who want to enjoy nature and the raw beauty of Trondheim and nearby areas, but bear in mind that while the days are bright and sunny, they can also be rather cold.

Relics that were recovered from the sunken ship The Pearl are also a part of the collection at the museum. The National Museum of Decorative Arts contains exhibitions with both ancient and modern pieces of silver, textiles, furniture and much more. The museum is best known for its collection titled “Three Women- Three Artists”, which includes tapestries and glass creations. The museum also has many temporary collections.
